Florists and flower businesses are close neighbors of garden centers, and many nurseries run a florist counter of their own. Retail florists build arrangements to order and deliver locally, floral designers work by appointment for weddings and events, flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, and flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies, tulips and sunflowers, sold by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own. Ordering from the shop directly usually means more flowers for the money than going through a national website.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (804) 213-0232. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, strawberryfieldsflowersandfinds.com.

Strawberry Fields just did the florals for our wedding this past weekend and boy oh boy did they knock it out of the park. They were so happy to meet us exactly where we were and to go as big or as small as we wanted and needed. They were punctual, they responded promptly always, they were so easy and fun to meet with in person. They were so kind and encouraging when they delivered our flowers the day of our wedding. And most of all they are complete and true artists with the arrangements they made for our arbors and my bouquet. My gosh, I still can’t stop dreaming about it all.

I got married last summer and the Strawberry Fields team made me the most beautiful bouquet and provided the loose flowers I asked for to make my bridesmaid bouquets. Can't say enough good! They were incredible, understood my vision, and made the process very seamless and enjoyable. Thank you!

Nice bouquet. Doesn't have the same flowers as the photo does but similar look. This was a $200 bouquet but the high end flowers in the photo online weren't what we received. I wouldn't use them again. *Response to your comment. I DID call, left message, nobody called me back. I paid over $200 for this bouquet that was falsely advertised on your website. How does that have anything to do with what you pay for flowers? Three stars, down to one.

Always such a great selection! I called this morning and requested a small boutique for a birthday gift and they delivered the most beautiful arrangement! I was able to grab a card at the shop and look for other gifts while I was there. They are always so friendly and helpful!! She pointed out the local flowers that were in my boutique too!!
